Residential Service Technician

Power Trip Electric is looking for an experienced residential service electrician with a minimum of four years of experience. The primary responsibilities will include:

  • Perform work as instructed by the company owner ensuring that all work is completed with substantial quality workmanship in a manner that is compliant with all local and national electrical codes.
  • Troubleshooting and resolution of a variety of residential electrical issues.
  • Installation of a variety of residential electrical systems including but not limited to lighting fixtures, receptacles/GFCIs, EV chargers, and more.
  • Maintaining control of tools and materials on vehicles.
  • Perform other tasks as requested.

Requirements:

  • A Minimum of four years of verifiable experience
  • Ability to perform electrical calculations
  • Knowledge of the Electrical Code
  • Ability to work independently, in a timely manner with minimal supervision
  • Excellent customer service abilities
  • A clean DMV record

Electrical Apprentice

Power Trip Electric is looking for an apprentice electrician with a minimum of two years of experience.  The primary responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting the journeyman electricians and installation crew on a variety of commercial and residential projects.
  • Perform work as instructed by the journeyman and company owner ensuring that all work is completed with substantial quality workmanship in a manner that is compliant with all local and national electrical codes.
  • Assisting journeyman with troubleshooting and resolution of electrical issues
  • Maintaining control of tools and materials on vehicles
  • Perform other tasks as requested

Requirements:

  • A Minimum of two years of verifiable experience
  • A current and valid Electrical Trainee card with the state of California
  • Ability to perform basic electrical calculations
  • Knowledge of the Electrical Code
